Alexandru totals more than 25 years of professional experience out of which over 14 years of experience as a Trainer in management, 10 years of experience as a Human Resources Director / Manager with international and national companies, 10 years of experience as a Senior Consultant, and 7 years of experience as a Coach.
As a Human Resources Director / Manager with Mivan – Kier, Alstom and Campofrio, Alexandru coordinated restructuring design and implementation projects in line with company objectives, designed and implemented performance management and job grading systems, transformed compensation systems, implemented cultural change, career planning, and HR policies and procedures.
As a Trainer Alexandru has designed and delivered custom made trainings such as: Management Skills, Customer Service, Sales Excellence, Project Management, Communication, Finance for Non Finance, Train the Trainers, HR Management for Middle Managers, Working in virtual teams, Carrier transition consultant skills, Guide for a success carrier transition. He is a Coach Trainer and delivers “Champions have Coach” training program for people who want to develop their coaching skills.
As a Senior Consultant Alexandru has designed and implemented custom made assessment and development centers, he was directly involved in evaluation of more than 800 people. He coordinated social climate diagnoses, managed outplacement projects, designed and implemented new HR processes and procedures, has participated in business units reorganization and in setting-up the National Agency for Payments in the field of social assistance and services.
Starting from 2010 he works as a Senior HR Expert for the project “Social Economy – Innovative model for promoting the active inclusion of vulnerable groups” which is financed through the European Social Fund.
Starting with 2013 Alexandru is member of a consultancy team involved in a project in Healthcare system and worked with many hospitals in order to help them achieving accreditation from National Commission for Hospitals Accreditation.
For the past years Alexandru has been focusing on coaching and has been involved in different coaching projects for international companies established in Romania. Alexandru believes that his clients are experts at their life and work, they are creative and resourceful. Alexandru’s coaching experience includes Life Coaching, Executive Coaching, Career Coaching, 360º Feedback, Business Coaching and Team Coaching.
Alexandru is a founding member of the Romanian Coaching Guild Association (ARC) and a member of its directory board (2010-2012). The purpose of ARC is to support the coaching activity in Romania, for observing the individual value of each person, for the successful development of each individual and of the Romanian society in its entirety.
Alexandru has a strong educational background. He holds a Professional Diploma in Management from Open University Business School, U.K, an economics degree from the Academy of Economic Sciences, Department of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Computer Studies, Bucharest, and an engineering degree from Bucharest Polytechnic University.
He has completed the certified Alain Cardon “Coaching Fundamentals” course ACSTH (Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours), two workshops “Individual and team diagnosis in coaching” and “The breakthrough process in team and individual coaching”. He has completed also one year of Systemic Group Supervision and Mentoring for Executive and Team Coaching Professionals with Alain Cardon, MCC.
Alexandru graduated also Betska K–Burr’s training for coaches and was certified as Associate Power Coach® by Coaching and Leadership International.
